Meredith Butcher
Born and raised in San Diego, Meredith grew up spending summers horseback riding and fly fishing in Jackson Hole. She moved from Boston to Alabama in 2011 to pursue her other passion, developing recipes and editing for food magazines. Taking advantage of Alabama’s extensive recreational water resources, she focused on fly fishing and tying her own flies. Calling on her innate artistry, Meredith expanded her fly-tying world to create bespoke pieces of art. Inspired by the beauty of traditional salmon flies, she now creates colorful, intricate works that reflect nature with a little bit of flare.
